Welcome to Rocket and Roses Vegan Kitchen. My blog remains true to my original vegan (and mostly gluten free) kitchen, creating my own recipes and enjoying making recipes from the kitchens of others, but has evolved since its creation. Now it will occasionally include my other great passions - music, art, travel, health and all forms of literature.
So once more I ask you to escape with me into the beautiful world where all these passions are celebrated...
I've been writing this blog for just under a year and to be honest I didn't think I would last this long..lol. But I am very pleased I have and even feel a little pride in it. I hope that I bring interesting recipes to you readers and I enjoy sharing them with you. I like sharing a good mix of other peoples creations and my own..and as yesterdays blog will prove...my disasters too! lol.
It was My Love's idea to come write a 2011 review posting. And I was surprised when I took a look at my stats and read through the top 10. For one I was surprised any of my creations were in there..lol and what actually made the top 10. You people like the 'treats' that's for sure..lol.

I really enjoy the Brunch recipes and we both really enjoy eating them! lol. Isa's cook book Vegan Brunch has been priceless. And it has given me the inspiration for many of my own brunch recipes that I will blog about over the coming year. So it really wasn't a surprise to see that this was the most read blog entry. The brunch section gets the most responses in emails...
I asked My Love if one recipe stood out above the rest...the reply was the Warrior Muffins that saw My Love and our pals D & B through the long Leeds Music Festival Weekend in August. lol.
Here's to more creative moments in the kitchen and trying out other people's smashing recipes for another year, eh? lol
