My evening was shaping up to be a good one as Hannibal/TVseries and American Horror Story had arrived in the post thanks to the DVD club...so I needed a speedy meal so I could get settled in, in the dark and finally meet Hannibal...although I have to say I don't hold with his diet..lol. Urgh.

And last nights evening meal was a hot surprise. Although the photo isn't that great, the stir fry itself blew my taste circuits..lol. I had picked up a bag of ready prepped stir fry veggies (shortcuts are necessary right now sadly...) which was packed out with white cabbage, green cabbage, onion, carrots and beansprouts. Hmmmm...quite bland eh? I would need to add flavour levels... I also had some cooked lentils to hand so I fired up the wok and got started....

Action shot!!! Speedy Sriracha Veggie Stir Fry

Speedy Sriracha Veggie Stir Fry   Serves 1

1 bag of shredded white & green cabbage, carrot, onion & beansprouts
1 cup of cooked green lentils
1 tsp sunflower oil
Drizzle of toasted sesame oil
Heavy drizzle of Light Soy Sauce (GF)
Sriracha Chilli Sauce to your taste.

Heat the sunflower oil in the wok until hazy and then add the shredded veggies and keep moving to coat...and cook, continuously moving for five minutes. Then add the lentils and combine. Drizzle with the sesame oil and the soy sauce and stir to combine and heat through. Turn off the heat and add the Sriracha sauce to your personal 'heat' taste...and serve.

Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope your Wednesday is a brighter one than mine...I have grey skies...I think American Horror Story is called for this afternoon..lol.
